IBC have been proudly supporting independent merchants and supplier partners for over 15 years. Within that time, we’ve grown to over 220 members in over 330 locations. Plus, collaborating with over 175 supplier partners to bring our members’ product choice at the best rates.
This year as part of our member-first strategy, we completed our first customer insights project. This is where we invested in commissioning a research agency to go and talk to our members to understand their views on IBC and their business needs to help develop our member-first strategy. We look forward to sharing the full results with you later this year, including some of the key actions we’ve taken to improve our members’ experience.
However, what was key that came out of the research was how important it is for us to communicate with our members regularly and clearly. In fact, 92% of members said they wanted to receive promotions and offers from IBC by email.
As part of listening to our members and improving how we communicate, we’ve updated our branding to give it a clean, modern and fresh look.
This includes an update to our logo and the marketing materials you’ll receive from us, with the aim of making our emails and supporting communications easier to read and understand for greater engagement with our members and supplier partners.
We’ve started to roll the update out and you’ll begin to see new look updates from us very soon.
